A key starting point in the design of Vantaan Kaskelanrinne was to integrate the building into the surrounding landscape. The building’s appearance combines manor-like elegance with modern practicality. The exterior not only functions for the residents but also benefits the surrounding community: the stylish and architecturally refined building enhances the neighborhood’s value and creates a new landmark in the area.

The design of Kaskelanrinne aimed to dispel the prejudices often associated with care homes. The building is designed not to look like a typical institutional environment but to exude warmth and community. The manor-like exterior evokes dignity and makes an impression on both residents and their loved ones.

Prioritizing Residents’ Well-Being

Inside Kaskelanrinne, everything is designed with the residents’ well-being and daily ease in mind. Spacious living areas, large rooms, and an accessible environment ensure that each resident can enjoy the facilities according to their needs. The two-story building offers both privacy and community, supporting residents’ well-being and social interaction. Every detail, such as lighting, furniture, and the layout of spaces, has been carefully considered with a user-centered approach.

Special emphasis in the design was placed on ensuring that the spaces can easily adapt to various needs and daily requirements. In this, Sievi Hyvinvointitilat Oy succeeded in creating a place that seamlessly supports the needs of both residents and staff.

Building the Future through Collaboration

Palvelukoti Vantaan Kaskelanrinne is a fine example of how Sievi Hyvinvointitilat Oy can meet the wishes and demands of its clients. The collaboration with Palvelukoti Vantaan Kaskelanrinne Oy proceeded in close interaction, and all the unique features of the project were considered.

Kaskelanrinne is not just a building; it is a home—a place where residents can live a safe, dignified, and active life.

“Meidän ääni on tullut tosi hyvin kuulluksi, kertoo Perusturvaliikelaitos Saarikan palvelupäällikkö Anu Kinnunen tyytyväisenä”.
He kuuntelivat, mitä meidän asukkaamme ja mitä me yhteisönä tarvitsemme.
Toiveemme huomioitiin todella hyvin. Pääsimme vaikuttamaan rakennuksen sijaintiin ja malliin sekä huoneiden ja toimintojen toteutukseen. Asukkaat ovat sanoneet, että uuteen kotiin on ollut ihana tulla.
